Rudy is a Senior Guide specializing in Central American destinations. He is an avid birder and naturalist based in Belize! Rudy's nemesis bird is the Crested Eagle!

Rudy has been birding since he was 9 years old, learning a lot from his older brother and fellow birding guide, Glenn Crawford. Rudy has been a full-time guide for the Bird's Eye View Lodge at Crooked Tree Lagoon in Belize for many years! Rudy studied ecology and conservation, and has worked on many projects with the Belize Zoo and the Belize Audubon Society. 

Rudy's eyesight and hearing is very impressive while his gentle demeanor, unending patience, and enthusiasm for birds and wildlife all contribute toward making every trip he leads very memorable for his participants!
