Another quiet night

The lower half of the country seemed to be experiencing moderate migrating overnight, but PA and the surrounding states were largely quiet. West winds Seemed strong enough to limit migration and the velocity map only shows movement in the same direction as the winds. If there were a fair number of migrants, they should show up on the velocity radar heading north despite the winds.

The wind forecast looks like we will be stuck with north and west winds until Friday night.

Check out Alex’s post for an idea of birds to be expecting in the next 2 weeks.
