This morning I had the time to run down to Middle Creek in Lancaster County to look for the Mountain Bluebird that has been seen there for the last week or so. It was a pretty miserable rainy night so I was banking on it not leaving overnight. The drive down was pretty stormy but it cleared off temporarily as I got near Middle Creek. I was able to find the bluebird pretty quickly on a distant line of old cornstalks. I managed a couple slightly-better-than-bigfoot-quality photos before a big line of storms came in and chased me back into my car.
